Charlie Garcia

I was born on November 11, 1965. I was raised in Alice and Corpus Christi, Texas. As I grew up, I learned the value of dedication to hard work by participating in competitive sports.

I graduated from Alice High School in Alice, Texas and received a B.B.A. in Accounting from Texas A&M in Kingsville, Texas. In time, it became apparent that a career in the legal field was my calling.

Blessed with the support of my family, I began my legal career at Thomas M. Cooley in Lansing, Michigan, where I was a member of the Thomas Cooley Law Review as a Senior Associate Editor. I graduated from law school Cum Laude in May 2009. I have since returned to my Texas roots and now reside in Austin, Texas. My goal as a lawyer is to help people as I would my own family.

I am blessed to be married to my lovely wife DeNae and to have four great boys, Jon, Bryan, Joseph and Cameron.

My family attends Austin Christian Fellowship Church in Austin, Texas. A few things I enjoy are golfing, intercoastal fishing, football, NHRA Drag Racing, listening to music, bible study and spending an evening with the family barbecuing.
